Delete connected data
This public page explains how Google, YouTube, TikTok and all other connected-platform data can be removed from NowPlaying.
1. Remove one connected platform
Sign in, open your account’s Platforms or linked sign-in methods, and choose Disconnect or Unlink. This removes the stored provider identifier or encrypted credentials for that connection and stops future API access. You may also revoke NowPlaying directly in the provider’s connected-app settings.
2. Delete the whole account
Sign in, then open Account > Delete my data. If you cannot sign in, email info@now-playing.top with the provider used, your provider username/ID and enough information for us to verify ownership.
Requests are normally completed within 30 days. You can cancel a pending request before processing.
3. What deletion removes
- profile, contact email, public links, avatar and persistent sign-in data;
- Google, YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, Discord, Spotify, Last.fm and ListenBrainz identifiers, tokens and credentials;
- widget tokens and usage counters, listening history, security keys, TOTP/recovery data and active sessions;
- user-owned styles and associated application/partner records that identify the account;
- uploaded account assets where they are controlled by NowPlaying.
4. Minimal records retained
The account row is anonymized and soft-deleted so referential integrity and abuse controls continue to work. A minimal deletion-request status/timestamp and anonymized audit event may be retained to demonstrate completion or comply with law. They no longer contain OAuth credentials, contact details or a usable public profile.
